I have started reading the second part of the inheritance cycle – Eldest. The story picks up from remnants of the war of Varden with Urgals. The after effects of the war takes a mental tool on Eragon who recovering from killing of Durza, a shade.

The head of the Varden – Ajihad along with his aid goes into the tunnels in looks for any Urgals. But it takes turn in the story for the better or worse as he is attacked by Urgals. He takes a promise from Eragon in his final moments before his demise.

As they get over the aftermath of the war, they are grappling with the consequences of Ajihad (Varden leader) details.

Since, I have finished the 50 pages of the book, the story is just picking up. There is parallel narrative of Roran too. I feel its breather and change to know what happens to him as well. Most of the first book was around the control character Eragon and his fight. Looking forward to see how the story process….

Let continue the review of the next part of the part of the book next week. Meanwhile Saturday was boom shopping and I got three books for myself. Looking forward to read the books that I brought.

Reading books started out as hobby and also stress buster. Gradually I developed a great passion in reading books. I was influenced by my dad to start writing what I read into a blog and hence started writing my own blog
